Dutch Country & Western artist Just John has decided to settle in the Algarve, after visiting it for many years. John and his wife Ulrike moved from Belgium and now live in a typical Algarvean cottage in Odelouca, close to Silves.
He is known for his entertaining mix of old style Country featuring such stars as Don Williams, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and the more modern numbers from artists like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and Travis Tritt. He even throws in the odd 60′s and 70′s number from Elvis, Cliff, Roy Orbison and many more
John has performed in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Texas, USA.
You may have cought a glimpse of him performing as special guest during performances of the other great Algarve Country star JJJohns.
John’s first Algarve show will be a Valentine’s Day evening performance at Phoenix Nites Bar & Restaurant in Carvoeiro on 14th February, starting at 8.30 p.m., where he will be performing his 60′s and 70′s repertoire.
